Eyemouth Museum

Award winning folk life and fishing museum opened in 1981, which commemorates the Great East Coast Fishing Disaster of 1881.  A tapestry remembering the event was sewn by local ladies and is central to the displays.  The upstairs gallery hosts various temporary exhibitions throughout the season.  Souvenir shop selling quality gifts and keepsakes.  
Group bookings welcomed and wheelchair access to main display area.

Open from Easter to October

Easter to September:
Mon - Sat: 10am - 5pm
Sundays 11am - 2pm

September: Mon - Sat 10am - 4.30pm
Sundays 11am - 2pm

October: Mon - Sat 10am - 4pm
Sundays Closed

Admission Charges:


£2.50 Adults, £2.00 Concessions and Free to accompanied children up to the age of 16.
