Castle Cottage
Two spacious double rooms, one with private bathroom and dressing room and the second with en-suite facilities.
Breakfast is served in the kitchen, with a choice of menu, including vegetarian options. Fresh, local produce is used wherever possible. Packed lunches and evening meals are available by arrangement and supper can be provided for late arrivals.
Castle Cottage offers an ideal base for exploring the spectacular Berwickshire and Northumberland coastline and the historic towns of the Border Country. We are also well situated for travellers seeking a break in their journey across the border.
For those guests with an interest in outdoor pursuits, particularly divers and cyclists, we can offer washing, drying and secure storage facilities for rigs and cycles.
Castle Cottage is within easy reach of a wide range of dive sites along the Berwickshire coast, including St Abbs & Eyemouth Voluntary Marine Reserve. As divers ourselves, we are happy to provide guests with information on local dive sites, equipment and boat charters.
Information is also available about the variety of routes and trails for cycling and mountain-biking in the Border Country.
